Cathay Pacific Airlines, an international airline based in Hong Kong, has selected Airbus’ Flight Hour Services (FHS) component support for their fleet of 48 A350 XWBs on order.

The agreement covers spare parts availability, maintenance and logistics services at Cathay’s main base. The agreement also includes Integrated Material Services (IMS), whereby the purchasing of their A350’s inventories are outsourced to Airbus’ dedicated materials management subsidiary, the Satair Group.
Airbus, through “Services by Airbus”, offers end-to-end fleet lifecycle solutions for all of their customers. Services range from standalone services to the most complete integrated solutions, like Flight Hour and Tailored Support. These enhance aicraft competitiveness by adapting to the needs of the customers.
Cathay Pacific’s first A350 XWB is still under production testing in Toulouse, has already performed its maiden flight and will be delivered in 05/2016. Will be B-LRA after delivery.
