They will be upgrading the route from the A320 that normally operates the route to a Boeing 787-8 aircraft, which will become the airline’s second Dreamliner route to Switzerland after Zürich.

The A320 that normally serves the route seats 132 passengers, while the 787-8 that will operate the route soon seats 254 per flight, almost doubling the capacity.

The aircraft upgrade will also increase the cargo capacity on the route to 80 tones per week between the two destinations.

The 787-8 will have 22 business class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration and 232 economy class seats in a 3-3-3 configuration.
