It was an unusual sight for many people along the Irish coast that day.

The decommissioned Transaero Boeing was purchased by businessman David McGowan. The 50-tonne jet was moved from Shannon Airport in Ireland, to Enniscrone, Ireland.

It will be the centerpiece of his planned glamorous camping, “glamping”. His campsite also features boats, trains and even London black cabs.

The total journey took 36 hours. The airplane arrived in Enniscrone safely at 3 am the next morning.
