Delta defers deliveries of four A350s

Delta Air Lines says it will defer deliveries of four A350-900s from 2018 to 2019/2020 as it seeks to match its international capacity with the rate of expected improvements in foreign markets.

The carrier has 25 of the type on order from Airbus Industrie with the first expected to be delivered during the second quarter of 2017, along with an order for 25 A330-900neo, which will arrive from 2019 onwards.

The two types will replace Delta’s older B747-400 and B767-300ERs.
