Etihad Airways to return the 777s on lease from Jet Airways

Jet Airways’ chief executive, Amor Agarwal, has said that Eithad Airways will return six B777-300(ER)s to its sister carrier over the course of the next sixth months.

According to The Economic Times, the aircraft will begin returning to India from August onwards and will be deployed on key domestic routes as well as other long haul services, like Amsterdam, Paris and Toronto.

Agarwal said the carrier is planning on upgrading some of their existing A330 services with the 777. Jet Airways currently operates four 777-300(ER)s on routes such as Mumbai to Hong Long and London and Delhi to London.
