Lufthansa to end B737 operations in mid-Q4

Lufthansa will conclude its regular 737 operations in October.

The German carrier currently operates only seven B737-300s on regular flights from Frankfurt to Bologna, Geneva, Hannover, Katowice, Leipzig/Halle, Nuremberg, Prague, Stuttgart and ZuricH with the last flights set for October 29.

Lufthansa has had all versions of the 737 Classic Family over the years. It operated: twenty B737-100s, forty-four B737-200, forty-one B737-300s, seven B737-400 and thirty B737-500s. D-ABEK is currently in Fanhansa colors.
