JetBlue has announced that they will start a new seasonal service between Newark Airport, New Jersey and Bridgetown on the island of Barbados. The first flight will take place on the 19th of November and run until January 7th.

The flight will run one time a week on Saturdays. This is JetBlue’s fourth route to Barbados, joining New York-JFK, Fort Lauderdale and Boston. The route will be flown with their Airbus A320s.

“Barbados continues to be one of JetBlue’s best performing destinations and we know our New York customers will love having even more choices to select from when they book their holiday travel this year,” Dave Clark, JetBlue’s VP of network planning, says in a statement. “Demand to and from Barbados is particularly strong over the holidays and we are pleased to offer more seats and more choices to serve this peak holiday demand.”
