Today, Boeing announced the commitment for thirty 737s from an undisclosed Chinese customer at the 2016 Farnborough International Airshow.
The commitment includes a mix of B737 MAXs and B737 NGs, valued at more than US$3 billion at current list prices.
“The agreement demonstrates the confidence the market has in the 737 family of airplanes,” said Boeing Commercial Airplanes President and CEO Ray Conner. “The new airplanes will bring the leading edge of passenger comfort, efficiency and reliability in the single-aisle market to our customer.”
Boeing will work closely with the customer to finalize the agreement.
