Boeing has revealed the identity of the three customers that have placed orders/commitments for its Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) program.
In an announcement at the 2016 Farnborough International Airshow, the US manufacturer said Bulgaria’s Cargo Air and Colombia’s Lineas Aéreas Suramericanas have each ordered two B737-800BCFs, while Air Algérie has committed to two of the type. An undisclosed customer also ordered four B767BCFs.
The aircraft will be converted at select facilities located near the conversion demand.
