The aircraft, whose deliveries were last deferred from 2016 to the last quarter of 2017, are now likely to be delivered starting in 2019.

For its part a Jet Airways spokesman has said the carrier is currently busy with the return of the six B777-300ERs on lease to equity partner Etihad Airways. Once their induction has been taken care of, only then a review of the airline’s widebody needs will be undertaken.
