Former Turkish CFO sues the airline after its controversial dismissal

The former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Turkish Airlines, Coşkun Kılıç, has taken the airline to court over what he claims was his unfai dismissal in the wake of Turkey’s failed military coup last month.

According to Istanbul administrative court papers, seen by Bloomberg, Kilis is suing Turkish to either be reinstated or compensated with clarification that his dismassal wasn’t in any way related to the ongoing purges.

Because of the anti-Fetullah Gulen purges, Turkish has already fired 211 staff, including management and cabin crew.
