KLM to suspend flights to Cairo

Effective January 8th 2017, KLM will suspend their flights between Amsterdam Schiphol and Cairo. This is due to economic reasons following the devaluation of the Egyptian pound and the restrictions on the transfer of foreign currency out of Egypt imposed by the Central Bank of Egypt.

Air France-KLM group airline and fellow Skyteam carrier  Air France will continue to serve the Egyptian capital with 6 weekly flights.
