Avianca Argentina, registered as Avian Líneas Aéreas, confirms that they will commence operations early next year using ATR72-600’s. The new airline’s fleet will consist of up to 18 of the aircraft.
Synergy Aerospace acquired Macair Jet S.A earlier this year and renamed the airline.
“Avian Líneas Aéreas will provide an essential service across the Argentinian market, introducing new regional routes and connections to and from main hubs, first in Buenos Aires and then in Córdoba Int’l,” Synergy Aerospace chairman Efromovich said. “The first delivery is expected before the end of the year, with entry into service planned for the first quarter of 2017.”
