Southwest Airlines Announces New Routes to Mexico


Southwest Airlines has announced three routes to cities in Mexico from Los Angeles. These three locations include Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, and Cancun.

These new routes and future routes are outlined as follows:

Dallas (Love Field) – Ontario 1 daily nonstop
February 12, 2017
Oakland – Puerto Vallarta 1 daily nonstop

With the introduction of new routes, Southwest is catching up in the international market, adding to existing routes that fly out of the US. The airline also plans to add more international routes from Los Angeles to appeal to the ever-growing demand for out-of-country destinations from California.
