On Thursday, a flight simulator caught fire in an office building at Frankfurt airport. There were 200 people in the building when it was evacuated. One person was taken to hospital after smoke inhalation. The fire was extinguished within 45 minutes of it starting.

The simulator contained a replica of a 767 passenger cabin, used to train cabin crew. Technical fault was most likely to blame for the accident.
