The carrier issued an RFP for the wet-lease of two 300-seater widebody aircraft to cover Hajj flights between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia over the period from July 25 to October 8, 2017.

As such, Meraj confirmed in a statement that the aircraft will be B777-200(ER)s, but did not disclose the contracting operator.

Biman is currently dry-leasing two B777-200(ER)s from EgyptAir, of which only one is currently in commercial operations.
