Hainan Airlines takes delivery of its first Boeing 737 MAX
Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines recently took delivery of their first 737 MAX from Boeing. The aircraft, B-1390, was handed over to the airline on Saturday, November 18 at their Boeing Field Factory in Seattle.
Alaska Airlines to discontinue flights to Cuba

Khabarovsk Avia Let L-410 impacts terrain near Nelkan, Russia
On the 15th of November, a Let L-410 twin-turboprop operated by Khabarovsk Avia crashed into a forest while on final approach to Nelkan Airport, in Eastern Russia. A 3-year-old girl was the only survivor out of the 5 passengers and 2 crew members onboard.

Air Transat launches new livery
To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Canadian carrier Air Transat has revealed a new livery that features gradient shades of blue in the rear part of the aircraft. The Air Transat titles now also will appear on the underside of the fuselage.
FedEx Express orders up to 50 new ATR 72-600 freighters
FedEx Express and ATR have signed a contract for the firm purchase of 30 ATR 72-600 aircraft, with options for 20 more. These aircraft will be the first to be directly delivered from the factory in a freighter configuration. The fleet of the world’s largest all-cargo airline currently includes 45 planes from the ATR family, all of which have been converted from passenger aircraft to freighters.
